We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Austin, TX, USA | Bellevue, WA, USA | Dallas, TX, USA | Oceanside, CA, USA | Portland, OR, USA | San Diego, CA, USA | San Francisco, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA | Sunnyvale, CA, USA | Tempe, AZ, USA Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 7+ years of data engineering experience - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Strong knowledge of SQL and demonstrated ability to apply SQL to a wide variety of business require-ments - Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS - Experience mentoring team members on best practices - Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc - Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts and data platforms and architecture Preferred Qualifications - Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR - Experience operating large data warehouses - Experience providing technical leadership on high-impact cross-functional technical project Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $123,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,500/year in our highest geographic market.
