The Opportunity
As a Sr. Database Developer, you’ll be a critical player in shaping the data infrastructure that drives operational excellence and innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, harness advanced database technologies, and contribute to the seamless flow of data to support impactful business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of data systems across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with teams to define projects, develop solutions, and resolve technical challenges.
- Design and develop custom database objects, stored procedures, functions, and T-SQL scripts.
- Create and optimize SSIS packages, SQL jobs, and processes for efficient data movement.
- Analyze and troubleshoot slow-performing queries and database systems to improve performance.
- Support off-hour deployments, production issues, and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to apply modern database practices and tools.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in enterprise software design and database development.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with SQL Server 2008 or higher, T-SQL, and Data Warehouse development.
- Experience in dimensional modeling and working within database administrator roles (backup, restore, and security).
- Intermediate-level knowledge of object-oriented software engineering using MS Visual Studio tools.
- Preferred experience with SSAS and healthcare information systems.
- Problem Solving: Proven analytical skills to interpret and implement complex business and functional requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

Salary
60 - 85 /hour
