Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist to join their team in California. This position is contract to hire and offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals with experience in credit and collections to work in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive credit analyses to determine customer creditworthiness.
- Manage the collections process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize outstanding debts and improve collection rates.
- Provide detailed reports on credit and collections performance to management.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit and collections activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit and collections, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit and collections management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 100% onsite with hybrid work schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office).
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $36, depending on experience and qualifications.
Additional Details:
This is a temporary position with the potential for hire, ranging from 2-3 months _+
