The Amazon Ads Brand Marketing Editorial team is seeking a Sr. Content Marketing Manager who is analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. This role will own the management, optimization, and analysis of content programs to drive measurable improvements in content delivery for our customers. The ideal candidate combines strong B2B content creation skills with advanced analytical capabilities, possessing a mind that is equal parts creative and analytical. You will be responsible for developing compelling content, improving customer journeys, and measuring the impact of our marketing efforts.
In this role, you will find operational efficiencies across a team of marketers, using data-driven insights to create seamless customer experiences across touchpoints. You'll partner with our Channels team to leverage personalization and with our Measurement team to understand the downstream impact of our work. This position requires exceptional judgment, great communication skills, and experience in program management. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and other teams to drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and raise the bar for our content.
The successful candidate will operate with a "think big" get-it-done mentality in complex, ever-evolving environments. You must be a strong communicator with strategic marketing experience, business acumen, and excellent writing ability. As a thought leader with high emotional intelligence, you'll be comfortable with testing, learning, and proposing disruptive ideas in our fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage projects from ideation to execution, while bringing fresh ideas to simplify and scale our processes, will be crucial in this role.
Basic qualifications
* 6+ years of content marketing, operations, and/or program management experience
* Experience using data, reporting, or tools to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly
* Experience with SQL, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and/or Excel (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Project management experience, working with both internal and external stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
* Experience working in digital media or content marketing
* An experienced wordsmith with a keen eye for quality content and a strong grasp of grammar
* Experience with SEO and conducting keyword research and trend analyses to monitor seasonal, industry, and real-time trends
* Familiarity with, or willingness to experiment with, technology tools (e.g. GenAI)
* Ability to make ruthless prioritization decisions to allocate limited resources to high impact initiatives
* Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit-enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen
* Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Key job responsibilities
Define and optimize customer journeys across multiple touchpoints and channels, translating data-driven insights into strategic content recommendations to improve effectiveness and reach.
Develop, implement, and measure content marketing experiments across various channels, providing ongoing recommendations for new/improved approaches.
Manage project schedules, drive completion, and report status to stakeholders, ensuring efficient delivery of content.
Monitor KPIs, contribute to business reviews, utilizing Amazon's data resources effectively to compile actionable reports and dashboards from multiple sources.
Streamline content workflows and improve team processes, establishing scalable best practices for operational efficiency and identifying opportunities for optimization or automation of marketing efforts.
Execute content ideas to drive brand awareness and consideration, focusing on compelling, data-driven storytelling with a customer focus.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and other teams to deliver thought leadership content and accurate brand positioning.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly to drive innovative solutions and achieve business goals.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
