Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician FLSA Status: Non-exempt EEO Category: Production Department: Maintenance
Purpose Keep things running smoothly by overseeing and performing maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities. Diagnose problems, handle repairs, and ensure safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex maintenance and repair on CNC machines, manual machines, and other equipment.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and projects.
- Collaborate with other teams to align maintenance with production goals.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and perform general labor duties as needed.
Education & Experience
- High School/GED required; Trade Certification in CNC repairs preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with CNC and manual machine maintenance.
- Experience with robots/automation is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Skilled in hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and precision tools.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands Occasional walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have good vision and be able to work in a noisy, manufacturing environment.
Work Environment Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving parts, fumes, and chemicals. Noise level is typically loud.
Authority While you’ll manage daily tasks, you’ll need supervisor approval for changes in operations. You can’t approve purchases or authorize overtime.
