About the Job
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports for highways, roadways, and bridge site developments. Your expertise in bridge and/or road design and experience working with WYDOT, St. Louis County, or other state DOTs will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and exceed client expectations.
This role has the potential to become hybrid in our Sheridan, WY office after completion of an initial training period. This role may support our other office locations remotely at times as well (Headquarters in St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC).
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience for Civil Engineer (note: Technical Degree for a Technician/Design role also available).
- Senior (10+ years of experience) roles available depending on level of relevant State Department of Transportation (DOT) experience.
- Microsoft Office productivity software.
- Civil3D proficiency a must.
- Must be able to comply with all client and industry safety requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify technical issues.
Preferred requirements:
- PE license
- Microstation, Bentley, GeoPak InRoads or OpenRoads (ORD) experience
- Hydraulics Analysis
