About the Job
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports for highways, roadways, and site developments. Your expertise in road design and experience working with MoDOT, St. Louis County, or other state DOTs will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and exceed client expectations.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility based out of either our St. Louis, MO headquarters location, or our Charlotte, NC office for a Civil Engineer.
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of relevant State Department of Transportation (DOT) experience (note: Technical Degree for a Technician/Design role also available).
- Microsoft Office productivity software.
- Civil3D proficiency a must.
- Must be able to comply with all client and industry safety requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify technical issues.
Preferred requirements:
- Masters Degree OR MBA
- PE license
- Microstation, Bentley, GeoPak InRoads or OpenRoads (ORD) experience is highly preferred.
