The Site Leader provides strategic and tactical direction for the plant and related integrated supply chain activities
in alignment with business strategy. Develop and execute strategies for increased customer
satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, working capital management, and effectively introduce new
products/processes for growth. You will oversee and promote effective Health, Safety and Environmental programs
and practices, ensuring that high standards of site safety are established, met, and that facilities and grounds are
maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal considerations. Develop and execute
the Annual Operating Plan. Direct responsibility for departmental spend and managing budget. Drive site to
achieve/surpass customer and financial commitments. Provide customer interface and support as required; using
customer feedback to improve quality and delivery while driving process and yield improvement.
+ Establish and implement standard manufacturing and material management practices
+ Lead organization to utilize lean manufacturing principals and processes to improve performance levels
+ Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving the required level of quality performance
+ Drive SQDIC performance of the plant (safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost)
+ Identify and run productivity improvement projects at site level
+ Interact with business partners to identify and support / implement growth projects
+ People management, ensure PER (positive employee relationship)
+ Foster employee engagement, coaching and mentoring of the key talent
+ Manage inventories to achieve working capital goals
+ Integrate key elements of Supply Chain Management and work on improving cycle times, lead times, throughput
+ Manage capacity/schedules to achieve On Time Delivery, growth and productivity goals.
+ Create a lean culture with engagement at all levels
+ Improve and develop organizational capabilities through effective performance management
+ Planning/utilization of human and capital resources.
+ Drive culture change, accountability and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership role in a chemical manufacturing environment
+ Knowledge of International Quality Standards like ISO 9001
+ Significant chemical manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience with implementation of corrective action programs like 7 Step Problem solving, 8-D or RCA methodology.
+ A breakthrough mindset and drive to win
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Ability to lead and develop teams and foster teamwork and diversity
+ Quick response and proactive mindset to drive results
+ Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA.
+ Safety conscious and able to apply methodologies to improve processes
+ Strategic and tactical HSE experience
+ Able to develop networks and build relationships
+ Strong computer skills with Database & Proficient with MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
+ Knowledge / experience with Lean management and Six Sigma
