Sr Channel Financial Analyst - Fortinet Technologies (Canada) ULC

Sr. Channel Finance Analyst:

Fortinet is looking to hire a dynamic, highly motivated Sr. Finance Analyst to join the WW Sales Finance team. The successful candidate will be forward thinking and care deeply about continually improving the teams’ assessment of Fortinet’s channel investment decisions. As part of this group, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring our day-to-day financial health of our Channel business. You will support Fortinet’s growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. You will provide accurate and timely information on financial trends and assist with the management of US channel programs.  As such, the successful candidate requires proficiency and working knowledge of finance, accounting, business and business analysis.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support US Channel Management in investment decisions
• Communicate and help continually develop investment rules across the business
• Provide insights and updates on performance/ROI on a timely basis 
• Consolidate, assemble, summarize  and analyze financial data including financial, business, customer and market information to structure sophisticated management reports
• Identify trends based on sound analysis
• Coordinate, manage and track results for channel programs 

Required Qualifications:

• A strong bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (including, but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business).  Advanced degree preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau, Salesforce.com and financial software applications
• Experience effectively partnering with business and operational stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written professional skills; ability to compile and present data, insights, and recommendations to different audiences, including executives
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure
• Experience working with both distribution and the channel required
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to pivot and adapt to a changing environment and business needs
• Ability to collaborate with organizations within Fortinet including Sales, Marketing, Channel, and Finance
• Solid understanding of Pamp;L elements and experience with Forecast/Close processes a plus
