Job Details
This position owns and leads supplier relationships that have significant impact to business segment success and manages cross-functional project initiatives on behalf of department.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- 2+ years' Supply Chain experience
- 5+ years' sourcing/purchasing experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Critical negotiating and competitive bidding skills to deliver cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers.
- Managing supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation relative to business needs and market conditions.
- Analyzing category spend to initiate restructuring of vendor base to achieve cost savings goals.
- Continuous improvement to drive innovation for all products within assigned product categories.
