We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to collaborate closely with our Senior Product Manager for the Data Platform. This key role will involve working cross-functionally with product management, data engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of our data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Partner with the Senior Product Manager to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed functional requirements for the data platform.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization through data-driven solutions.
Data Platform Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager to ensure alignment between business requirements and the technical capabilities of the data platform.
- Work with data engineering teams to define and refine data models, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
Metrics Definition and Monitoring:
- Work with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals.
- Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track and analyze the performance of the data platform against established metrics.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with data engineers to establish and enforce data quality standards and practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability within the universal metric layer.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other business units to gather insights and ensure cohesive data strategies.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, processes, and data workflows.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of data platform features and tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a business analyst, with a focus on data platforms and analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $64,900 -- $176,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
