Maximus is hiring a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Indiana LCAR program and will support multiple state projects over time. The Sr. Analyst will work with program and analytics staff, clinical SME's and state clients to pull, analyze and interpret data elements related to operational and client needs. This position travels approximately 25% annually to Indiana.
About the program: The State of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has contracted with Maximus to manage the Indiana Level of Care Assessment Representative (LCAR) Services. Currently in the first of a two-phase implementation, this portfolio of services brings a comprehensive, integrated approach to Level of Care (LOC) assessment processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison and subject matter expert to a portfolio of projects, including large and high-risk projects, ensuring requirements are met and intended benefits are realized through the effective use of data via a range of visualizations (e.g., dashboards, reports) and alerts while instituting standards and best practices.
- Facilitate discussion among process stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to elicit, analyze, communicate (both written and verbally) and validate requirements, process design, and business intelligence/reporting needs and requirements.
- Plan and execute analysis - often interrogating data, operational processes and source systems to perform root cause analysis, impact assessments, or to identify key measures and indicators of process performance to recommend improvements or correct performance.
- Mentor, train, and provide guidance, background information, and support to managers, analysts and others on standards and best practices in business/operational analysis, interpretation and effective use of data visualizations, process models and other analysis artifacts.
- Independently deliver analytic solutions and Level 2 (or higher) service delivery for a variety of complex business/analytic needs for production projects, often under urgent deadlines.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, solution, test and release defect fixes and enhancements needed to core analytic products.
- Design, execute and evaluate test plans to ensure source data are accurately represented in presentation data objects (dashboards/reports).
- Capture, define, document, and maintain accurate and correctly detailed BPMN 2.0-based process models.
- Create and manage allied process documentation including business needs statements, business requirements, use case documentation, test plans, report specifications; ensuring documentation is accurate, correctly detailed, maintained and organized in the appropriate repository.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Public Policy, Statistics or other area focused on quantitative analytics or applied mathematics (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical or technical role working with data.
- 3+ years of experience working with operations, preferably in the Government or Healthcare industry.
- Skilled in analytics using enterprise business intelligence platforms, such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Strong Customer/Client Focus.
- Effective verbal and written communications.
- Requirements Engineering.
- A thorough understanding of analysis of healthcare and social determinant variables, collection and interpretation of data, and inferential analysis required.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5 years experience working with operations, preferably in the Government or Healthcare Industry required.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
