These skills sets set you apart from the competition: Industry Leader in thoughtful and effective oral, written, and presentation delivery skills. Peer group separator when Facing the Client to have a positive impactful conversation ranging from the challenging to the sharing of “the best news they ever heard”.You are a relationship, project, and career builder, not a salesperson.  Key ResponsibilitiesLead the assistance in preparation of client fee proposalsSuccessfully assist owner managing and delivering projects on time and on budgetLead effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders including client, subconsultants, contractors and EOR  Ability to deliver exceptional services within budget and dynamic scheduling constraintsDemonstrate the ability to evaluate staff effectiveness and recommend key changes to achieve overall objectivesLocal travel within LA County Management ResponsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsPreferred Skills:BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline required10 to 20 years of water/wastewater project experience, primarily focused on treatment plants,  pump stations and pipelines Professional AccreditationsCMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM)Professional Engineering (PE) License Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Certificate  Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or equivalent heavy industrial experience preferred, or 4+ years of experience at the superintendent level. 8+ years with a degree or 18+ years construction experience without a degree with 2 of those years at equivalent construction manager experience. OSHA TrainingPMIS (any brand), Oracle Primavera P6, Bluebeam (or equivalent) required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.CertificationsOSHA 10 Hour training preferred. • Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
