Roles and responsibility:
- Responsible for functional design of application systems across all technologies and platforms
- Translates user requirements to process and data requirements
- Converts specifications about business problems into sequence of detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support
- Constructs program flow charts to describe the processing of data and development of precise steps and processing logic across all platforms
- Provides broad understanding of platforms and applications across all technologies
- Functions as an IT advisor to the business units and the team.
- Understand, document and prioritize high level business requirements
- Convert high level business requirements into executable, detailed user stories to enable development
- Communicate effectively and consistently with customers, partners, business and technical teams and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Become and remain knowledgeable on key business processes and systems and how they operate/integrate
- Identify gaps in the application functionality and work with the technical team to provide solutions
- Troubleshoot, coordinate, and maintain production systems/programs/applications, as needed.
- Conduct project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the project manager
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects as needed
- Maintain high team morale
- Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines
- Pay high attention to detail in all work

- Proven hands-on Software Development experience.

- Must have methodical problem solving ability and the ability to quickly make complex decisions
- Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation Strong customer service focus and analytical problem solving skills are desired.
- Knowledge of the agile development methodologies and corresponding tools (ex. JIRA/Confluence)
- Working experience with APIs. Knowledge of tools like SOAP UI, Post Man etc., for analysis purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience with working closely with business units / Product Owners.
- Working knowledge of Web/Mobile applications and hosting environments
