Role - Sr Business Analyst - TPM
Rate - $70.37/HR on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $105.55/HR)
Duration - 2 Month Assignment (possible extension)
Location - Long Island City Queens NYC 11101
The TPM Internal Supplier initiative is setting the standards for internal affiliate service requirements processes, documentation and standards. The team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of documenting technology activities in a large organization to perform the role of a I-ARMS. IARMs are part of the Inter-Affiliate GPO. IARMs ensure the effective execution of the process by performing and facilitating the following activities: owning and controlling changes to the Global Inter-Affiliate Service Catalog; assisting Service Providers in assessing inherent risks of their inter-affiliate services in the TP-RAP tool; documenting evidence that Service Recipients are monitoring the controls and service level performance for each of the services they receive; and assisting Service Recipients in completing their activities throughout the Third-Party Relationship Lifecycle.
The ICSA management reporting initiative addresses enterprise level business information collection, analysis and reporting for the most senior managers at Client. This management information reporting draws on strategic data sources and common data definitions to deliver a catalog of standardized services.
The role will involve working closely with a number of senior business sponsors and technology teams, and is responsible for documenting business and functional services which act as the contract between these groups. The Senior Business Analyst will be expected to create and maintain high quality documents, and adhere to quality standards set by ICSA Management. He/she will be expected to assist development teams to translate these requirements into technical and functional documents used by technology teams to build the service contracts.
Key activities include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, etc..
- Follow Client SDLC process, best practices and documentation standards to produce requirements deliverables.
- Elicit, analyze, document and validate requirements through industry-recognized business analysis techniques.
- Produce accurate, well-understood, robust dpcuments, that are accepted by all stakeholders.
- Recognize/anticipate issues, risks and cross-functional gaps, and coordinate resolution across functional areas.
- Achieve consensus and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on the requirements documents - consensus encompassing current and proposed systems, processes, data, business rules and reports.
- Develop into a strong subject matter expert in the particular business domain that you are supporting, and become a competent advisor to both business and technology.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Excel, PowerPoint and analytical experience
• 10- 12 years business experience/background with focus on project implementation and follow-up
• Understanding of business procedures, financial service products and computer systems
• Self-starter who is capable of working independently
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills, initiative and ability to develop alternative procedures
• Detail oriented
