we are seeking a Sr. Benefits Analyst to join our global HR Team in Newark. As the Sr. Analyst, you will support the Plan design and administration of US health and welfare, wellness and retirement programs, as well as assist with the day-to-day management of benefit programs.

Responsibilities:
You will lead all facets of assigned benefit programs and vendors, including:
Monitoring vendor performance and key plan metrics Handling renewals/pricing and strategy as applicable Documentation and compliance (e.g., SPDs, required filings and notices, contracts, requirements documents, and other plan information) Leading enhancement/implementation activities Handling advanced issues Partner with third-party plan administrators and internal business functions (e.g., Payroll, HRIS, HR Business Partners) to provide world-class service to employees Partner with HR Help Desk to build and maintain knowledge base materials and ensure Tier 1 team is kept current with benefit-trainings and critical updates as needed Serve as a benefits subject matter expert in order to answer employee, internal partner and vendor inquiries and escalations Liaise between benefit carriers and employees as needed Assists with merger and acquisition activity and integration of new associates into the Company's benefits programs Assists in the development and implementation of associate communications regarding benefit plans with emphasis on electronic media including web-based applications Conduct new hire orientations and open enrollment meetings as needed Provide and share insights that drive benefits value and design considerations Work on other benefit-related projects as assigned Expected travel time between 10-15% per year, as needed for open enrollment, vendor meetings, acquisition integration activities for example
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive benefits and related laws experience Bachelor's degree in related field Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative analysis and project management skills; experience with benchmarking, communication, plan design, and vendor management.
Experience with Workday HRIS beneficial
Experience with successfully working inside a Shared-Service Corporate HR model a plus
Strong computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, comfortable communicating with higher management
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a strong attention to detail
A highly motivated self-starter, with proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to enthusiastically maintain relationships with employees, colleagues, and vendors
Strong problem-solving skills
Good judgment, such as knowing when to escalate an issue
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
