Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Northeastern Region
Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, analyze workflows, and deliver solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and performance. This role involves liaising between stakeholders, defining requirements, and ensuring successful implementation of technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Evaluate current workflows and processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including business cases, requirements specifications, and process diagrams.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Act as a bridge between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end users as needed.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in business analysis within financial services or a related industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including process maps and functional specifications.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Desired Skills:
Experience with private equity or investment management operations.
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for business analysis, such as Visio or Jira.
Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
