Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead automation projects that enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HMI, PLC, FactoryTalk, and Allen Bradley, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions in manufacturing processes.
- Develop and validate control system designs using PLC and HMI technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation systems.
- Manage capital projects related to automation upgrades and new installations.
- Ensure compliance with FDA and industry standards in automation designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering with a focus on HMI and PLC systems.
- Proficiency in FactoryTalk and Allen Bradley.
- Strong understanding of controls engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in programming, control system design, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Rockwell software, RS Logix, and DraftSight.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial automation standards.
