About the Job
The Senior Total Rewards Analyst role will partner with internal HR and business clients on benefits, compensation and wellbeing projects to help drive, align, and implement the Maximus employee value proposition globally. The key deliverables are to transfer practical compensation and benefits knowledge to the HR Business Partners and help operationalize global total rewards programs within their assigned businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as one of the subject matter expert regarding company compensation practices, equity and
retirement programs, benefits plans.
- Collect and gather financial performance of our total rewards programs as well as departmental budget
- Track and calculate financial forecasts for enhancements to the employee value proposition.
- Use Excel to reconcile data across multiple reports, and research variances using a variety of tools and resources.
- Partner with Change Management to develop communications programs designed to keep employees informed about company compensation, equity and benefit plans and proposed changes.
- Drafting of educational videos/materials for use by HR business partners and employees.
- Conduct ad-hoc market pricing for US and Global employees to support promotions, requisitions, and the commercial bid.
- Serve as a back up to the compensation team for internal equity analysis and salary recommendations in response to requests for new positions, new hires, and/or retention situations.
- Provide consulting services to the HR business partners on Corporate compensation policies, programs, and processes.
- Administration of the Deferred Compensation Plan to include maintaining eligibility and working with vendors on open enrollment.
- Assist in M&A due diligence with regard to benefits, compensation, and wellness practices of target.
- Assist other Total Rewards teams with large complex projects as needed, to include implementations and Requests for Proposal.
- Provide additional Project Management support to Total Rewards teams as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in data analysis, job description, market pricing and benefits administration.
- Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to HR, benefits, and compensation. - - Able to use Excel at an intermediate level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong customer focus and problem resolution skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Contribute to the completion of organizational projects & goals.
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Strong ability to communicate on complex or sensitive issues or drafts.
- Expertise in Excel for data manipulation and complex calculations
- Strong proficiency in Data Analytics, with the ability to derive actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in Program Management, ensuring successful project execution
- High level of Accuracy and Attention to Detail in all aspects of work
- Proven Problem-Solving skills to address and resolve complex challenges
- Experience in Vendor Management, fostering effective partnerships
- Strong Analytical Mindset, able to assess and interpret data for informed decision-making

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
