Position: Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Job Overview:
As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst at the company, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Manager by ensuring clear and efficient communication of financial results. Your expertise in financial analysis and modeling will be instrumental in verifying data accuracy, conducting variance analysis, and generating insightful monthly reporting packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in monthly forecasting and annual planning processes.
- Validate financial results during month-end close in partnership with the accounting team.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data and prepare comprehensive reporting packages.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and highlight changes in business plans.
- Maintain financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making by business leaders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance; accounting background is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong grasp of mathematical concepts (statistics, probabilities, algebraic expressions, etc.).
Compensation:
Base Salary Range: $85,400 - $110,600 per year (Bonus Eligible)
Note: For business reasons, remote work is not available in San Francisco, San Jose, or Oakland.
