As a Senior Advisor for Workforce Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our consulting projects. Your primary focus will be on growing and delivering a portfolio of consulting projects, driving sales efforts, , and ensuring the highest standards of excellence in project delivery.
**Key responsibilities** include:
_Expertise & Project Management_
+ Provide strong subject matter expertise in the area of workforce development, economic development, the public workforce systems, and human service program administration.
+ Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of workforce development consulting projects from inception to completion.
+ Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
+ Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
_Business Development_
+ Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients with a particular focus on state workforce agencies, HHS agencies, and large employer organizations.
+ Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, proposal development, and presentations to secure new consulting engagements.
+ Identify new and emerging opportunities in growth industries such as clean energy, broadband infrastructure, information technology, and healthcare.
_Leadership_
+ Serve as an internal advisor to project teams addressing workforce issues.
+ Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
_Project Execution_
+ Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services that meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
+ Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives and best practices.
+ Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery effectiveness and efficiency
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor degree or 10 years' experience required, graduate degree preferred
+ 5-10 years' relevant work experience.
**Preferred Experience**
+ Strong familiarity with the public workforce system (e.g. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)
+ Strong grasp of key workforce development concepts, present-day challenges, and emerging solutions (e.g. career pathways, skills gaps, apprenticeship, skills-based hiring).
+ Experience with providing advisory/consulting services to employers, government organizations, industry organizations, etc.
**As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $85,000 - 115,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.**
**Compensation:**
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
