You will work closely with a talented team of engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications that enhance the performance and safety of aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities


+ Design, develop, test and implement software solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of integrated flight systems


+ Work with program engineering to coordinate integration of software solutions for commercial cockpit systems


+ Software architecture and coding


+ Feature Definition


+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze customer requirements


+ Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability


+ Verification and Validation


U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE


+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or Computer Science field


+ Software development experience using C/C++


+ 5+ years of experience in software development


WE VALUE


+ Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools


+ Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System


+ Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.


+ Experience working with Embedded Products (with interactive User Interfaces a plus)


+ Experience with Avionics a plus but not required - experience in transferable industries i.e. Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Industrial, etc


+ Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.


+ Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
