Sr. Administrative Assistant, Full Time - Department of Medical Administration/Neurology - Morristown - Atlantic Health System

This is a full time onsite (5x a week) position supporting Chair of Neurology and Chair of Neurosurgery in an administrative capacity. The hours are  8:30am - 4:30pm in Morristown NJ at Morristown Medical Center.

Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient administrative duties. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and handles confidential and time sensitive material. Communicates effectively via phone and email and ensures that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.


Principal Accountabilities:


Answers and directs all Departmental phone calls 

• Schedules and coordinates all in-person and Teams meetings
• Assist with physicians’ travel arrangements to conferences and meetings.
• Submit and reconcile expense reports, Process payment/reimbursement for travel to seminars, subscriptions to professional publications, books, and dues for professional organizations.
• Enter On-call schedule for Neurology and Neurosurgery
• Orders office supplies, prepares invoices and provides general support to visitors.
• Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes, provides assistance in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
• Organize and take minutes for Monthly Quality Meetings
• Handles multiple projects, develops and maintains a filing system
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
