A Westside startup is looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager opportunity to their team due to support the growth of the business. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for GL reconciliations, supporting schedules, SEC reporting, fixed assets, and debt accounting. To be a good fit for this role, the Senior Accounting Manager must be detail-oriented, hands on, and a demonstrated people leader. What do you need for this Senior Accounting Manager role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of public/private accounting experience
- MUST be an active CPA or close to it
- Advanced Excel
- Prepare 10Q, 10K, and 8K for SEC filing
- Stay on top of new accounting standards, and update or create new accounting policies as needed
- Technical accounting research and prepare memos
- XBRL reporting
- Assist with month-end close
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit
- MD&A reporting
- Management analysis and reports on an as-needed basis
- Oversee the work of 2 Staff Accountants
- Maintain fixed asset schedule and its impacts on lease accounting
- Quarterly debt accounting reporting
- Just built a new state of the art facility
