You will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial tasks, ensuring all accounting activities comply with legal regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
2. Conducting account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
3. Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts.
4. Assisting with initial internal control evaluations.
5. Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
6. Assist with fund-level accounting and reporting
7. Account/bank reconciliations.
8. Reviewing and processing expense reports.
9. Assisting with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
10. Implementing and maintaining report procedures and controls.
11. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
12. Assisting the Controller with various projects as needed.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Reconciliation, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
3. 2+ years of lease accounting experience
4. Excellent computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
5. Experience with consolidations or accounting for joint ventures
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to direct and supervise.
8. Knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
13. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
