Review budget and actual spending for various overhead departments. Prepare internal reports of key Plant operation and financial metrics. Job Functions / Responsibilities + Prepare and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations surrounding fixed assets, inventory and other various accounts. + Provide financial support to operations team to manage capital projects. Ensure accurate reporting of fixed assets and capital projects. + Responsible for the preparation of timely, accurate, and meaningful monthly forecast and related analysis for various factory overhead departments. + Prepare various month end, quarter end and annual report schedules. + Work together with Division and other Plant Accounting team members to ensure timely and accurate cross division reporting. + Support month-end inventory counts, quarterly statistical audits of consigned inventory, bi-annual physical inventory and assist in the reconciliations of the GL to the counts. + Record intercompany transactions and supplier chargebacks for premium freight and rework. + Special and ad hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications + BS/BA Accounting Degree required + MBA/CMA/CPA desired and Master's degree preferred + 3+ years of relevant accounting experience + Strong analytical skills with attention to detail + Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks in a fast paced and time sensitive environment Strong work ethic and desire to exceed expectations + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Additional Job Board Information PACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
