Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and distribute weekly management reports to facilitate decision making and strategic planning.
- Identify and reconcile financial discrepancies, providing solutions to rectify any issues.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Prepare and post job cost transfers, ensuring all costs are accurately allocated.
- Maintain accrual and amortization schedules, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage the company's fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring all assets are properly recorded and depreciated.
- Provide support to the team on any accounting issues, offering solutions and advice to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain inventory records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Construction accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Exceptional attention to detail and advanced organizational skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in lease account reconciliation is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
