We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented Consulting Sr. Staff Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. This role demands a strong background in lease account reconciliation, with a focus on maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, preparing and distributing weekly management reports, and handling ad hoc financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a knack for addressing accounting issues, maintaining fixed assets and depreciation, and supporting the team on all accounting matters.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and distribute weekly management reports to facilitate decision making and strategic planning.
Identify and reconcile financial discrepancies, providing solutions to rectify any issues.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
Prepare and post job cost transfers, ensuring all costs are accurately allocated.
Maintain accrual and amortization schedules, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Manage the company's fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring all assets are properly recorded and depreciated.
Provide support to the team on any accounting issues, offering solutions and advice to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain inventory records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Construction accounting experience is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Exceptional attention to detail and advanced organizational skills.
Proven ability to solve complex problems and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in lease account reconciliation is a must.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
