Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr Manager - U.S. Accounting. This role will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with the business, and deliver relevant and dynamic financial analysis via a best-in-class modern global accounting organization. The scope of this role will be activity at US based manufacturing sites.
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Support the external audit process, including coordination and preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Review and Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with Business Support Center to review and analyze requested schedules for audit to ensure compliance, completeness and accuracy.
Support the Maintenance of chart of accounts and ensuring adherence to reporting compliance.
Preparation of ad hoc analysis for management as requested.
Maintenance of the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
Support the Costing project by documents, records and coordination with operations and IT team
Material and production cost analysis including preparation of regular variance reports to enable reduction of variances in collaboration with operations.
Ensure Compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information and trend.
Assist with month-end journal entries and account analysis.
Assist with preparation of financial statements, including trial balance, P&L and Balance sheet.
Successfully complete all assigned organizational training and relevant professional training.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA is preferred.
3-6 years of experience in financial accounting / reporting.
2-3 years of Cost Accounting work experience is preferred.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with ERP (SAP S4/Hana preferred) and Power BI reporting tool.
Experience with Google Suite preferred.
