This role will oversee the development and implementation of sell-in and sell-out strategies, while closely managing relationships with key retail partners.
You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth execution of promotional programs, product launches, and financial performance, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results.Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Strategy & Execution:Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies (both instore & online) that align with Tatcha’s brand vision to maximize sell-in and sell-out across key retail accounts.Manage budgets and allocate resources for seasonal promotional programs, ensuring optimal execution in line with sales goals and operational profit (OP) targets.Maintain sales forecasts and retail plans, adjusting strategies based on market conditions, retailer performance, and brand initiatives in-store & online.Oversee the coordination of new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Education, etc.) to ensure timely execution and robust 360 plans.Oversee promotional programs, evaluate their effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to improve future activations.Retail Partner Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners serving as the senior liaison to drive alignment and mutual business success.Work with retail partners, and internal Tatcha Teams, to plan and execute promotional calendars, visual merchandising, education and seasonal product launches, ensuring timely execution and retail compliance.Collaborate with retail teams and internal Tatcha Teams to optimize in-store and digital strategies, ensuring proper product visibility, inventory levels, and promotional support for maximum impact.Budgets & Insights:Manage overall account to drive net sales and operating profit (OP) to achieve targets, managing P&L performance across key accounts.Work closely with Finance and Planning to forecast sales, monitor sell-through, and adjust plans as needed to meet financial objectives.Analyze sell-through data and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement in sales performance.Regularly track and report on retail performance, providing insights on sales, product sell-through, and promotional effectiveness to senior leadership.Leverage competitive and category insights to adapt Tatcha’s retail approach, ensuring the brand maintains a strong presence in the beauty marketplace.Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may be amended to include other duties as assigned by the management team. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in senior strategic sales roles within the beauty or luxury retail industry, with a focus on managing key retail accounts.Proven track record in achieving sell-in, sell-out, and net sales targets while managing profit and loss (P&L) performance.Strong understanding of retail sales dynamics, merchandising, and promotional programs.Excellent financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and managing trade spend.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and retail partners.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.The DetailsThe expected base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $195,000.
The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
