About the Job
Installing and configuring SQL Server
Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Extensive configuration knowledge on always on, failover clustering, log shipping, Mirroring on on-prem and cloud is recommended.
Administrating high availability solution like log shipping, mirroring, clustering, and replication.
Experience on user creation, assigning roles and privileges.
Administering / migration users, logins, jobs, linked servers, other SQL server objects with minimum efforts.
Administering SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
Migrating SQL server databases from On-prem to cloud
Automating administration tasks, managing security, monitor server performance and activities.
Expertise on encryption and SQL server TDE
Monitor system's health and performance.
Space management including file group, managing transactional log files.
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
