SQL Developer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a SQL Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). Responsibilities include developing and optimizing SQL queries for performance and implementing strategies for database object creation, maintenance, and tuning.

 

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

SQL Developer job responsibilities include:

• Analyzing, designing, and mentoring the team on designing OLAP database schemas.

• Developing and optimizing tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, and user-defined functions to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 applications.

• Performance tuning SQL queries to reduce response times without negatively impacting applications.

• Implementing and documenting best practices for database object creation, maintenance, performance tuning, and optimization.

• Developing and documenting data quality, data discovery, and data lineage measures.

• Supporting CI-CD deployment processes using Jenkins/DACPAC.

• Collaborating with teams on Agile best practices and ensuring efficient database development processes.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SQL Server development.

• Expertise in OLAP database design and schema development.

• Strong experience with performance tuning SQL queries and optimizing.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
