Education and Experience:
 

• Experience working in an inter-agency enterprise environment is a plus.
• Expertise in DB2 database administration
• SQL server database administration expertise
• IT Technologies - skills, concepts
• Requirements analysis
• Analytical/problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• The DBA will analyze existing DB2 tables and SQL with an eye toward creating efficiencies in DB2 performance and to reduce DB2 CPU utilization to reduce expenses for our internal business partners.
• Will prepare an analysis reports, recommendations, and will prioritize actionable options targeting areas for the best optimization and cost savings.
• Will work with application developers and architects to improve database efficiencies and quality of applications.
• The candidate will review databases tables and SQL calls applying knowledge of DB2 data base management systems.
• The ideal candidate will have both DB2 and SQL Server database administration experience and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
