The Blake School seeks to hire a Spring and Summer at Blake programs assistant. Summer at Blake offers a wide range of day camps and enrichment programs for students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, designed to nurture growth as scholars, athletes and artists. Open to students across the Twin Cities, these programs foster community connections and provide an engaging, challenging and supportive environment for summer learning and development. These programs utilize the school’s outstanding facilities and are led by talented teachers, coaches and community partners. Spring and Summer at Blake will take place on Blake’s Hopkins campus. Spring Break programs are scheduled from March 17-31, 2025. Summer at Blake will run from June 23-Aug. 8, 2025. Candidates must be available for one week of training prior to the start of the seven-week day camp program. Transportation will be provided for all off-site excursions. Program staff report to the director of enrichment programs to ensure a safe, fun and nurturing environment for all participants.
Summer Programs Assistant:
- Works in collaboration with the enrichment programs director to support program planning, participant registration, online communications and attendance
- The Programs Assistant is scheduled for 30–40 hours per week during programming time with a preference for availability during pre-program planning and training.

Required Experience:
Experience Required:
- Experience in administrative assistance and customer service in an educational setting is required.
- Candidates should have strong interpersonal communication skills with both adults and children, the ability to multitask, flexibility, ability to lift 40 lbs, fluency in Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Photos, Forms) and social media platforms, experience with attendance/registration software, answering the phone and handling supply requests and ordering.
