Position Overview:
Anglin Reichmann Armstrong is seeking candidates for our Spring 2026 internship program. Our professional, structured internship program allows students to gain valuable real-word work experience in our Huntsville, AL; Pensacola, FL; and Winter Haven, FL offices. We treat our interns as staff-level accountants, providing them with similar assignments and experiences. Interns are compensated on an hourly basis at a competitive rate.
Responsibilities
- Handle the filing of 1099 forms and perform internal accounting tasks for clients.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for various entities including individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, estates, trusts, and private foundations.
- Prepare and maintain client depreciation and amortization schedules.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies regarding tax compliance matters.
- Identify, research, and analyze various tax issues, providing insights and information to senior staff members.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Ultra for accounting and tax preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
- At least a junior in good standing.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Availability to work 30-40 hours per week from January 5 to April 15, 2026.
