About the Role

As a Sportsplex Shift Leader, you’ll serve as the primary on-site supervisor, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and adherence to facility rules and regulations. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor or General Manager, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all participants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision: Direct and delegate tasks to staff, guiding recreation assistants to enforce facility rules.
• Customer Service: Answer phones, assist patrons, and address inquiries to ensure a top-tier guest experience.
• Facility Management:
  • Oversee daily setup for programming and ensure the facility is clean and presentable.
  • Monitor building capacity, parking lot safety, and patron behavior, responding to issues promptly.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including financial reporting and cash drawer operations.
• Event Supervision: Serve as the on-site supervisor during events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all.
• Administrative Duties: Ensure proper check-in procedures, maintain participant records, and oversee fee collection.
