JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain and optimize Splunk platform infrastructure and configurations.
• Provide daily operational and user support, including on-call duties and patching/vulnerability resolution.
• Document best practices and SOPs.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.
• Execute projects like Splunk Smartstore implementation, Cloud migration, and ITSI Service Monitoring.
• Implement recommendations from Splunk Health Assessments and optimize search performance.
• Automate processes using tools like Ansible and Python.
• Perform Splunk Enterprise, ES, ITSI, and App/TA upgrades.
• Onboard data, review sources, and optimize inputs.
• Maintain and upgrade Splunk apps and agents.
• Develop dashboards and write efficient searches.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience managing and maintaining Splunk platforms
• Strong knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and programming languages such as Python
• Experience in implementing and upgrading Splunk Enterprise, Splunk ES, ITSI, and related apps
• Familiarity with Splunk Smartstore, Splunk Cloud migration, and Splunk Workload Management
• Understanding of SSL certificates and vulnerability resolution

 
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Splunk certifications
• Experience with ITSI Service Monitoring and Splunk Observability
