Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $55.99 - $62.98 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.Department:
778000 Speech-Language PathologyExpectations:
Performs diagnostic evaluation of patients with communication disorders and administers speech and language treatment to patients. Participates in the management of patient care to include identification of communicative disorders' diagnosis; linking and scheduling patient with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, and evaluating outcomes. The Speech Pathologist facilitates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members.This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
Masters degree in Speech pathology, Language Pathology, or Communicative Disorders required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Determined by patient care area with 1 year related practice experience preferred.
O/P Rehab: Experience working with neuro-rehabilitation patients preferred, including TBI, SCI, and stroke.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Speech Pathologist License (SLP) issued by state of California Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensary Board
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
