GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Speech Pathology Licensure applicant will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and be assigned a NYS licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist clinical supervisor who will provide guidance to satisfy requirements for both licensure and completion of the ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY).
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
1. Evaluation/assessment of multiple acquired conditions that impact communication abilities. Will design and implement an appropriate plan of care for treatment and revisions to meet a patient's individual needs
2. Provide rehabilitative services to a wide range of acquired impairments in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
3. Prepare clinical reports and departmental paperwork as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited training institution required. Required knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to operate standard office machines and office computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint); Ability to learn computer programs related to electronic medical records and charge capture/schedule systems; Basic operating knowledge of standard diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures and related test equipment/materials used in Speech Pathology; Must possess and maintain ability to pass required mandatory in-service and staff competency training, which may include FIM administration. NYS interim licensure or eligibility required.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $17.80 - $24.04 Hourly

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
