About the Job
- Work within a team of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation specialists seeing pediatric patients including NICU follow-up patients on a weekly basis.
- Evaluate pediatric outpatients for speech-language and swallowing/feeding difficulties.
- Design and carry out SLP plan of care based on findings and evidence based practice.
- Document and drop appropriate charges on all patient interactions and confidently navigate the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient/family/caregiver education as indicated.
- Ensure customer satisfaction as well as quality of care and patient safety.
- Communicate/collaborate with other Rehab professionals, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers.
