About the Job

We are seeking a Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Essential Duties:

Provide direct treatment under physician's direction based on care plans.

Screen and evaluate residents to develop appropriate care plans.

Conduct rehabilitative programs to restore communication and swallowing abilities.

Administer and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.

Instruct residents and families on monitoring speech and practicing new skills.

Maintain accurate patient records and complete required documentation.

Develop specialized tools and treatments for individual patient needs.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Current state license in Speech Therapy.

Certification in clinical competency.

One year of clinical experience preferred.
