As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:Provide home-based speech therapy to patients having communication, swallowing or cognitive difficulties due to an illness or injury Work as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT and OT, focused on the patient’s plan of care and established goals

Observe and evaluate a patient’s ability to communicate, swallow and process information
