About the Job

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct care to evaluate their medical conditions and rehabilitation potential. Key responsibilities include:

Establishing and administering treatment programs with specific, achievable goals.

Documenting patient conditions and educating patients and families on therapy methods.

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and facility programming.

Qualifications include:

Graduation from an accredited Speech Therapist program and a valid NY state license.

Preferred experience in long-term and geriatric care.

Strong documentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
