Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat residents as per physician referrals.
- Assist in developing communication and swallowing decline prevention policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.
- Document evaluations and maintain accurate resident reports.
- Educate residents and caregivers on maintaining communication and swallowing functions.
Qualifications:
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech or equivalent educational requirements.
- Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
