Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Pueblo, CO
We are proud proud to partner with a premier nursing home in Pueblo, CO, specializing in sub-acute care. We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a licensed SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is dedicated to enhancing patient quality of life through expert care and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on functional communication and swallowing, tailored to each patient's discharge needs.
- Provide high-quality direct patient care in speech-language pathology.
- Participate in 72-hour meetings to discuss and plan patient discharge, ensuring continuity of care.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled rehab team to deliver therapy and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Utilize the well-equipped therapy gym, open 7 days a week, to implement treatment plans effectively.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Colorado SLP license with CCC (CFY candidates cannot be considered for this position).
- Proven experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a sub-acute or long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.
Compensation:
- Hourly range: $42.06 - $45.00
- Potential for sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, and/or student loan repayment options.
Schedule:
- Full-time position, hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
