We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Washington area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages, contributing to their communication and swallowing rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, therapeutic exercises, and home practice programs.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, best practices, and advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous professional development.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, as well as all relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Compensation:
