About the Job
Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide essential services to enhance communication, speech, language, and feeding/swallowing skills for clients with various impairments. They conduct assessments and interventions for infants to adolescents, working within a multi-disciplinary team to address complex needs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- State license and ASHA CCC credentials.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics.
- Strong physical health for manual handling tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders.
- Create tailored treatment plans and involve families in care.
- Utilize AAC systems and develop home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in professional development.
