We currently have a career opportunity for an outpatient Speech Language Pathologist. This position is per diem and will float among several of our outpatient sites within the Southern region including East Greenville, Souderton and Cedar Pointe (Allentown). The teams at these sites offer Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services and treat a variety of diagnoses including ortho and neuro. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Provide rehabilitative services to patients/clients who have reduced communicative or swallow function. Improve functional communication and swallow skills, provide patient/family education and serve as a resource for community services.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- IDENTIFIES PATIENT REHABILITATION CARE REQUIREMENTS
- By assessing patient condition upon order of physician and at regular intervals during assigned shift
- integrating patient information to facilitate holistic patient care

- PLANS, IMPLEMENTS AND EVALUATES REHABILITATIVE CARE
- By setting goals, collaborating and communicating with health-care team, patients and families
- acting on physician’s order and patient need in a timely manner

- QUALIFICATIONS

- Education
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech andHearing Association and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- CFY candidates considered as appropriate.
- Work Experience
- Related experience as a student or practicing clinician preferred.
- Licenses / Certifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
