Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Liaison - Kent Hospital

Primary Function:

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician Liaison works alongside specialty clinicians to encourage patients to utilize CNE Pharmacy to fully benefit from its superior patient care services. They collaborate with the clinic staff to complete prior authorizations and obtain financial assistance for patients. They determine whether a patient is eligible to fill their prescriptions at the CNE Specialty Pharmacy and direct prescriptions to the pharmacy whenever possible.

Job Qualifications and Specifications:

Required Licensure/Certification: Applicant must be registered in the State of Rhode Island as a Pharmacy Technician. National certification as a CPhT must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Experience: 1+ year (Required), 5+ years’ (Preferred) as a Pharmacy Technician.
