ERM is seeking a Specialist, Contract Administrator to support multi-disciplinary client accounts in Southern California (remote, hybrid, or in office). The Contract Administrator will support with the account team with program and project financial analysis. This includes tracking of expenses, review of existing commercial terms to maximum revenue, coordination, preparation of accrual and financial forecasts, deliverable review, and misc. project administrative tasks, ERMs rapidly growing programs perform services that include, environmental compliance, regulatory strategy, strategic consulting, , environmental remediation, environmental construction, safety consulting, capital project delivery, and digital services.
The Contract Administrator will support various program management within a Key Account team that contribute to program delivery as well as the interdisciplinary teams that deliver projects within the defined program. This individual will demonstrate an attention to detail, bias for commercial success, results oriented, an ability to respond to client requirements and requests in a rapid and efficient manner. Prior experience with supporting programs over $5M in revenue per year and work within a professional services consulting industry is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with daily operations to deliver a program scope, schedule, and budget that meets client expectations and ERM business objectives, including safe operations, client satisfaction, quality delivery, and program profitability.
- Support program management staff, including teams leading program controls and finance, resourcing and planning, and logistics support.
- Monthly reconciliation and accrual forecasting with estimate to completes.
- Profit and expense analysis relative to applicable contract terms.
- Support with development of commercial terms for client request for proposals.
- Assist with the management of subcontractors across multiple project workstreams within the program, each of which is led by a team consisting of a Partner-In-Charge and a Project Manager.
- Assist with the development and execution of effective plans of action to improve financial performance for existing programs, including innovative processes to improve program functions and profitability.
- Support the development of new processes and governance to adapt to rapidly evolving program needs in a highly fluid and dynamic business environment.
- Communicate internally and externally with the ERM and client project team.
- Assist with analyzing program financial and operational metrics. Collaborate with senior management to resolve negative variances, schedule and lower the plan profit issues as they arise.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.
- Develop a working understanding of ERM’s consulting practice areas and actively support these services to existing clients. Support the general growth and development of the Program and ERM’s Managed Services offerings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in project management, document review, and project coordination.
- Ablility to use financial data to develop forecasts for monthly invoice amounts by project, subcontractor, or overall account.
- Demonstrated excellence to assist with programs that achieve client objectives. Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Proven ability to support cross-functional teams including project managers, functional managers, and technical disciplines.

- Ability to work with all levels of management and employees to promote a culture of safety.
- Outstanding organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-paced consulting environment, as well as multiple priorities, and strict deadlines.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer and receive constructive feedback and direction to support goals.

For the Specialist, Contract Administrator, we anticipate the annual base pay of $71,925 - $87,757USD. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
